My Much Needed Daily Ritual

Especially in times such as these, I need something to keep me grounded to my path. I do this by practicing a daily ritual that I keep separate from my prayers and offerings with the family.

I use two stones, some know them as Grandfather stones, to help me channel the energy I want and need for the mantras I use. I have an intensely personal connection with them. During a particularly difficult time for me, I had lost my sense of self. I went searching for answers and these were the mother’s signs to me.

One represents my role as a mother, but also that of a daughter who still has much learning and growing to do. A red stone with a white fetus. Red representing strength, vitality, protection, and desire. The white for healing, purity, and new beginnings.

The other, a dull grey with the image of a mountain range. Reminds me, that just as I am of this world, so too are the Deities. With this realization, comes strength, confidence, and power. It is also a humbling reminder that I am but a small part in a grand scheme.

A daily ritual can be as simple as a cup of coffee with the sunrise. An evening walk under the stars. Lighting a candle, or simply holding crystals or stones. Your ritual should be based on your needs, anything that helps channel thoughts and energy will be right. This is because our traveled paths are very individualized. It’s one of the most beautiful aspects of our culture.

Many of us walk a Pagan Path. In times such as these it can seem quiet and lonesome. A daily ritual will help us tap into and connect with the collective magic of, not only the Mother, Spirits, and Ancestors, but our Pagan brothers and sisters as well.

Blessed be❤️

I am daughter, I am learner of the traditions. I carry them forward so that the Elders and Ancestors may be remembered for all time. I am also Mother. I am here so that the image of The Mothers love could be brought into existence. I shall always carry the sacredness of this honor with me.
